Introduction
Farming production has massively increased over the last decade to accommodate the increasing population. The population of the UK is estimated to increase by another 4.9 million over the next decade according to the office of national statistics. It is important that farms maintain the level of production to meet the public demand for food while establishing an efficient, sustainable level of production and to consider the welfare of the animal as well, (Defra , 2012).

This website will go through the key differences in the anatomy of male and female common farm species such as sheep and cows and discuss selective breeding. The website will also outline oogenesis and spermatogenesis and common reproductive diseases including signs and symptoms.
