Comparison of male and female reproductive anatomy for common animal species

This section summaries the male and female reproductive system in common farm species and covers topics such as gestation and sexual maturity.  The anatomy of an animal is usually a complementary shape to the opposite animal. For example the boar penis is a cork screw shape to fit the complementary shape of the pigs vagina, (Reece, 2009).
